Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
-
What will happen at my first appointment?
Your initial appointment will usually last approximately 60 minutes. During the time your therapist will ask about your primary complaint, the history of the complaint or condition, and your goals that you wish to achieve.
We will also ask about your medical history and a few questions about your activity in general - this helps us to work with you to ensure your treatment plan is tailored to you and that your goals will be achieved!
-
What information will I need for my first appointment?
Any relevant information for your therapist about your primary concern would be helpful. This may be a hospital discharge letter, post-op instructions, scan results, etc. This will help your therapist ensure your safety and wellbeing at all times.
We may ask about your medical information as well. This helps us to ensure safe treatments are selected for you.
